Sessions vary depending on the needs of the client and what shows up in the moment, however, they typically include; open conversation, breath work, journaling, reflective exercises with simple meditation, mindfulness and awareness practices, as well as, having a safe space to feel held in complete non judgment and openness in order for a personal exploration into authentic expression and creativity.

Pejman’s journey of becoming a health care practitioner started while he was studying electrical engineering 34 years ago in Ottawa. Being of Persian background he was reading some mystical Persian texts which compared the interconnectedness of the human body with the world we live in. In the text it showed how the whole body works together in great harmony and balance to function and when parts of it are injured or unwell all parts will work together to contribute to its well being. It suggested that humanity will have to work in cooperation and unity to be well! He made his life’s purpose and passion to learn about the physical, energetic, mental and spiritual dimensions of healing and went on to study massage and craniosacral therapy, TCM acupuncture, Yoga, meditation and Matrix repatterning. He recently closed his 31 year practice in Ottawa and moved to London with his family to support his wife in her personal and career growth

I help others discover their gifts, become more self-aware and live through their hearts. I am an educator (recently retired teacher), certified life coach, Gene Keys guide, professional speaker, and best-selling author. In terms of energy healing, I use high vibrational energies of the Earth and the Universe, am a Shamanic Practitioner in the Celtic tradition, Radionics practitioner and also use Healing Touch and Therapeutic Touch. Using different healing modalities, I support others in learning more about themselves and loving themselves more fully.

I started out as very Science minded in my life and have a Master’s of Science that summarizes my curiosity for trying to understand how the world works. My own spiritual healing journey began with an introduction to guided meditation and I realized how much that might help my physical chronic pain due to scoliosis. After learning Reiki, I realized that energy work, not only helps physical pain and issues, but also helps heal emotional traumas. At that time I dived into all sorts of energy work including Celtic and Universal shamanism, Healing Touch, Therapeutic Touch, mediumship, Access Consciousness and more. I’ve been offering energy healing sessions since 2011. I experienced a kundalini awakening over the space of many months and realized the need for balance and being grounded in life.

Over the years, I have continued to add healing modalities such as being a certified coach, reading the Akashic records, and using Radionics. Lately I’ve been focused on my children’s book, From Head to Heart, which is about a young girl’s journey after bullying which starts out as my own story. This book opens discussions about feelings and encourages kids to reach out for the help they need to gain better mental health. This book is really a book for all ages. I’m available for author visits and speaking engagements, both in person and virtually.

I look forward to offering energy healing sessions at Compass Rose which may include Healing Touch and Therapeutic Touch. I will also be offering different workshops so stay tuned for upcoming events. One of these will be an Introduction to the Gene Keys, a beautiful system that supports a deeper understanding of yourself. In the future I will offer Gene Keys profile readings.

Sarah is a Mum of two beautiful little girls and one fur baby. Sarah trained at Tiffany Theatre College in England for Musical Theatre. Following her training, she had a 6-year career singing and dancing professionally on cruise ships around the world. After her world travels, she started a new chapter and attended university to train to become a Speech and Language Therapist and obtained a first-class honours degree from City University of London. Once graduated and working for a short while in the NHS, she became a mum and wanted to find the right work life balance. She then ran baby and toddler signing classes with the franchise ‘Little Signers Club’ for a year in England.

As a family they then decided to make the move over to Ontario, Canada where Sarah’s husband is originally from. Since moving to Strathroy and welcoming their second child, Sarah identified a gap in the community and has decided to create and launch her own baby and toddler music classes, so StrawBubs was born.

Sarah’s background means not only can she provide wonderfully entertaining classes for your littles ones, but she is also weaving in her unique expertise in the area of speech, language and communication. Sarah is incredibly passionate about developing and promoting early communication skills and building that special bond between caregiver and child. I am very excited to be part of the Compass Rose team and to offer the option of Paediatric Physiotherapy! I received my Master of Science in physiotherapy from McMaster University and have been a member of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario since 2003. I have worked in Paediatrics throughout my whole career and have loved every minute of it. I love engaging with the children in a playful, holistic way to help them accomplish their developmental milestones and become successful, independent individuals in their environment. Meeting and supporting the child’s family is a significant aspect, and I feel honoured, humbled, and grateful to be entrusted with this responsibility. I am a mother of three amazing souls and know how important it is for the whole family to be supported through the ever-changing development of children.

I have had the privilege of working as a paediatric physiotherapist in Canada, Scotland, and Dubai. The diversity of these healthcare systems has allowed me to acquire many new skills and approaches to looking at your child’s health and wellbeing. During my seven years of working in Dubai, I became a transdisciplinary therapist. When I worked with a child there, I incorporated their physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and social and educational developmental goals into a fun and playful session.

My training and education is not the traditional path that many take to this work. I started my path to perinatal support back in 2008 when I began my studies at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (class 2013). While earning my post-graduate degree in Naturopathic medicine I realized how passionate I was about supporting families as they grow. So I enrolled in an IBCLC program at the International Breastfeeding Centre, where I acquired over 90 hours of formal lactation medicine education. I have attended two different doula training courses, and continue to learn every day.

My education in naturopathic medicine was so in-depth that it has given me a deep understanding of how the body works, which has allowed me to teach families about childbirth and breastfeeding. In addition to my training as a breastfeeding support person, I work as a Doula, a Childbirth Educator and Breastfeeding Educator.

I love supporting families as they grow, and over the last 11 years, I have been honoured to support and serve as witness for families during their awesome transition into parenthood.

I believe that the fundamental piece of a successful counselling relationship IS the RELATIONSHIP. It is within the safety of a relationship that you can explore those areas in your life where you are feeling stuck or overwhelmed. It is in relationship that you can begin to work through past hurts and traumas. Do you ever feel that no matter how hard you try, you keep coming back to the same difficulties in life - stuck in the same patterns? I will welcome you where you are, with no judgment, so that you may begin to examine the thoughts, emotions and behaviours that continue to hold you in these self-defeating patterns.

I have over 23 years of experience in the field of Social Work working both with individuals and families. For many of these years I have been working with families who have children with complex special needs. I help to parents to better understand and support their child’s mental health or behavioural concerns and rebuild their relationships.

Sometimes, despite the love we have for our family, it seems that we struggle to have peace within our relationships at home. In supporting families to make the changes they are seeking, I utilize Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) which focuses on restructuring parent and child interactions. I always look at every situation through the lens of being trauma-informed and understanding the role of attachment.

I look forward to joining alongside you to support you and your family to improve your emotional, mental, spiritual and physical wellbeing.

Ever notice how so many practitioners in the healing arts have been through some sort of trauma themselves? My passion for healthy-living came about because I came close to losing both my health and life.

Post Traumatic Growth has become my personal mantra. I’ve come to understand that pain is the body’s way of communicating; and suffering is the mind’s attachment to the story of loss of self.

My journey to heal has taken me all over the map; literally and figuratively. From exploring the many gifts that western medicine has to offer, to delving deeper into the diverse modalities of more traditional healing practices.

I see each of these “offerings” as part of a pie and each slice an opportunity to heal in different ways. This has included; shifting my perception, finding ways to release tension, realigning to allow energy to move freely, and gaining flexibility, strength and resilience.

I’m quite passionate about pursuing diverse knowledge, and trying new experiences. I always surround myself with people who love to collaborate, encourage, offer positive mirrors and challenges for me to keep on leveling up. As such, it seems I’ve accumulated a significant amount of certifications over the years.

I have a B.Sc.(Hons.) in Biological Anthropology, and have taken some post grad courses in writing; which is another one of my professions. In addition to that, I also work as an Educational Aide for students with disabilities at the post secondary level, and I have a background in fitness and wellness coaching, with an emphasis on water therapy. My longest passion has been working in emergency response and advanced lifesaving, as both a responder, and instructor for over 25 years.

As part of my own healing journey, I’ve been studying a variety of modalities, such as; meditation, mindfulness, metaphysical sciences, Reiki (Master level), intuitive development, sound healing, and creating group dynamic/workshop experiences. Although credentials and education are important, it’s honestly my primary experiences with life which have made me so passionate about working with clients and being of service.

An avid book lover I am also a staff writer for Goodereader.com and have contributed work to The London Free Press, The Gazette, The Londoner, Best Version Media, Lifeliner, and Citymedia.ca
